PURITO SEOUL TXA 6 Niacinamide 10 Retinal Serum is an intensive treatment designed to address stubborn discoloration, post-acne marks, uneven tone and visible signs of ageing through a multi-active approach.
The formula combines three key actives. 6% tranexamic acid (TXA) targets the appearance of dark spots and uneven tone, while 10% niacinamide supports a brighter, more balanced-looking complexion and helps maintain the skin barrier.
The third key ingredient is retinal (retinaldehyde), an advanced vitamin A derivative that requires only one conversion step to become retinoic acid. PURITO encapsulates the retinal in the distinctive orange capsules visible inside the serum, helping incorporate this sensitive active into the formula.
The brand describes retinal as working 11 times faster than retinol. This refers to its shorter conversion pathway toward active retinoic acid and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every user will see results 11 times faster.
The formula is further enriched with Ceramide NP, Centella Asiatica, adenosine, glutathione, bisabolol, allantoin, vitamin E and Hydroxydecyl Ubiquinone (idebenone) to complement the potent brightening and age-supporting actives with barrier, antioxidant and soothing care.
According to the brand's materials, visible improvement in the appearance of dark spots may be seen within two weeks, although individual results can vary.

How to use
- Shake the bottle 3–5 times before each use to distribute the retinal capsules.
- Apply 1–2 drops to clean skin, gently massage and pat until absorbed, then follow with moisturizer.
- Although the brand indicates that the serum can be used morning and night, retinoid beginners may prefer to begin at night, 2–3 times per week, gradually increasing frequency according to skin tolerance.
- During the day, always follow with SPF 30 or higher; SPF 50 is preferable for optimal daily protection.
- When introducing retinal, avoid combining it in the same routine with other strong retinoids or very intensive exfoliating treatments until you know how your skin responds.
- Reduce frequency if persistent irritation, significant redness or peeling occurs.
