Dr. Ceuracle PDRN & Retinol Shot Ampoule is an intensive anti-aging treatment developed for skin in need of renewed firmness, smoother texture and revitalization. It combines two popular approaches in modern Korean skincare – PDRN and retinol – with microscopic spicules and a moisture- and barrier-supporting base.
At the heart of the formula is the brand's Skin Booster Complex, described as a combination of PDRN, exosome and hyaluronic acid technologies.The PDRN component appears as Sodium DNA, alongside Salmon Egg Extract, while Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate provides hyaluronic-acid-based hydration. The complex is designed to provide intensive revitalizing care and support the skin's natural recovery and resilience.
The second major component is the Retinol Shot. Retinol promotes surface skin renewal and, with consistent use, helps improve the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture and tone. Dr. Ceuracle pairs this potent active with a nourishing base to provide a more balanced approach to retinol care.
A distinctive feature of the formula is Hydrolyzed Sponge spicules – microscopic structures that may produce a characteristic mild prickling sensation during and after application. The ampoule has a cushiony cream-type texture designed to envelop the spicules and minimize discomfort. Rather than rubbing vigorously, the brand recommends gently pressing the formula into the skin with your palms.
The active complex is supported by an extensive moisturizing base. Squalane softens and conditions, Ceramide NP supports the skin barrier, while beta-glucan and Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate help maintain hydration and a plumper appearance. How to use
- Apply a moderate amount to clean skin and spread evenly.
- After application, gently press the skin with your palms to help the formula and spicules settle onto the skin.
- Avoid vigorous rubbing.
- If you are new to retinol or spicule-based skincare, begin at night, 1–2 times per week, using a small amount.
- Gradually increase frequency according to your skin's tolerance.
- Sensitive skin should first test the product on a small, limited area.
- Avoid combining it in the same routine with other retinoids and, especially when first introducing the product, strong exfoliating acids or other potentially irritating treatments.
- Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher during the day.
- Dropper tip: press the rubber top before inserting the dropper into the bottle, then release it while submerged in the formula to draw the ampoule into the pipette more easily.
